The KOOKAÏ Australia and New Zealand story began in 1992 when the founders, Robert Cromb and Danielle Vagner, had a vision to introduce the Parisian label into the lives, and wardrobes, of the Australian woman. Their concept was simple: fashionable, high quality pieces at accessible prices.
The KOOKAÏ collection is designed exclusively out of Melbourne and is defined by an essence of femininity, confidence, allure and independent style. Today, KOOKAÏ remains true to its origins in providing a collection infused with Parisian chic, and continuing to provide an opportunity for women to embrace their individuality and the power of expression through their wardrobe.
The majority of the KOOKAÏ collection is produced out of their own manufacturing facilities in Fiji, as part of KOOKAÏ’s overall pursuit of an ethical and meaningful existence. There are 34 boutiques across Australia and New Zealand. They have three boutiques in Auckland. I have previously found KOOKAI sizing to be small, but I do love their basic tops and bright colours that they offer every season. My choices from their latest collection are below;
Kendra Dress $280.00, Blair earrings $35.00, Layla Headband $50.00, Nautical Stripe Playsuit $180.00, Everyday Bralette $30.00, Leo Beaded Clutch $70.00, Bella Top $130.00, Summer Day Heel $120.00, Tigress Skirt $110.00.
