Your Spring must have shoe.

I recommend that you invest in a pair of block heel sandals this Spring as they will see you all the way through to Summer. Just with the choice of styles and colours that are in the shops, indicates that this style is here to stay.

I have picked out my favourite nude block heels as I think a nude shoe can be teamed with so much more than black, and especially in Summer when you tend to be wearing lighter colours, or colour full stop!

Tan Ankle Boots

The glimpse of Summer at the weekend inspired me to analyse my wardrobe and consider summer colours and styles to pull together into outfits. Thinking of styling the lighter colours, made me realise that I was in need of a lighter coloured ankle boot. Its not quite warm enough for sandals, and a light ankle boot is a great alternative to have.

You can style them not just with jeans but also with dresses and skirts, see below for some ideas.

Now is the perfect time to be looking at ankle boots as a lot of them are on sale, so you can pick up a bargain, and if you spray and protect them they will last until next Autumn! Here are my picks from the shops.

Tan suede and cowboy boot styles tend to be good options for styling with skirts and jeans.
Top row;
Merchant 1948 Bronco Ankle Boot From $269.00 to $159.90, Mi Piaci Arkansas Ankle Boot $320.00.
Middle; Hannahs Pulp Noir Nomo From $149.95 to $69.95.
Bottom row; RUBI Dundee Western Boot $69.95, Shoe Connection London Rebel Apollo Boots $59.99.

    SHOES
    I have to confess I am not a fan of heels. Dont get me wrong, I LOVE heels and think they do wonders for elongating your legs, it is more that I cannot wear them anymore due to the extra instability they induce in me. Also being a stay at home mum, I do not really have the occasion to wear them.

    I do own a gorgeous pair of black suede, (with gold studs on the back), block heel Zara ankle boots, which I love, and when I am feeling brave or dressing-up I will resort to.

    So.. I am always on the look out for gorgeous, dressy flats or low heeled shoes, so I may feature more of these than heels. But don't despair if your a heel devotee I promise to scour the shops to bring you the best on these too!!
