The summer sandal-slides.

If you haven't already now is the time to make sure your toes are ready to be exposed to the summer sunshine. Sandals are everywhere and in particular the slide shoe seems to have hit the shops as a summer essential. I've found my favourites from the stores and bring you my Top Ten.

I have had friends over the years bemoan the fact that they don't want to wear stiletto heels or kitten heels or even high heels anymore. They want something with a bit of a heel, stylish but comfortable. As soon as you say comfortable you don't have to think Hush Puppies, (a UK brand of 'comfortable' shoes for the older lady, although they do some very stylish designs now.) The shoe you need to look for is a block heel shoe, and you're in luck as this summer there are a few styles and colours to choose from. These styles give you the added height you desire, but without all that unwanted pain, don't they sound and look perfect!

SHOES
I have to confess I am not a fan of heels. Dont get me wrong, I LOVE heels and think they do wonders for elongating your legs, it is more that I cannot wear them anymore due to the extra instability they induce in me. Also being a stay at home mum, I do not really have the occasion to wear them.

I do own a gorgeous pair of black suede, (with gold studs on the back), block heel Zara ankle boots, which I love, and when I am feeling brave or dressing-up I will resort to.

So.. I am always on the look out for gorgeous, dressy flats or low heeled shoes, so I may feature more of these than heels. But don't despair if your a heel devotee I promise to scour the shops to bring you the best on these too!!
