When the temperature drops, as it did this week, I start to think of ways to keep myself warm in what I wear. If I am not in boots for Winter then I tend to opt for high-tops, (more on those soon), or sneakers, so that I can wear socks to keep my feet warm, I'm a bit of a Nanna!

Of course there are an array of colours and styles out there at the moment, but I decided to stick to darker colours on my feet. Mainly because I will be standing on the sidelines at various soccer/football sessions for the kids, so they wont show the dirt as much!!

From left to right; ASOS Chuck Painted Hardware Plimsoll Trainers $124.28, Overland Deuce Ritter Zephair $99.90, Shoe Connection Vagabond $129.99, Witchery Liam sneaker $149.90.

I have to confess I am not a fan of heels. Dont get me wrong, I LOVE heels and think they do wonders for elongating your legs, it is more that I cannot wear them anymore due to the extra instability they induce in me. Also being a stay at home mum, I do not really have the occasion to wear them.

I do own a gorgeous pair of black suede, (with gold studs on the back), block heel Zara ankle boots, which I love, and when I am feeling brave or dressing-up I will resort to.

So.. I am always on the look out for gorgeous, dressy flats or low heeled shoes, so I may feature more of these than heels. But don't despair if your a heel devotee I promise to scour the shops to bring you the best on these too!!
